Once again Sydney came up trumps in providing the perfect backdrop for the perfect wedding. Although, I have to say that from a photographer’s point of view, Cassi and Eliot and their guests were such dream subjects that they outshone the delights of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. There was no worry of this wedding party being subsumed into the scenery no matter how magnificent.
The bride and groom managed to host the perfect combination of traditional and modern; the contemporary was an easy bed fellow to the heritage and cultural background of this delightful couple and it was a privilege to be able to capture what I hope will be some memorable moments for many years to come.
From start to finish, from the impeccable dresses and suits, from the stunning blooms to the radiant smiles, and the laughter and frolics of the reception, Cassi and Eliot’s wedding was a portent to a happy life and a bright future.
Bubbe Meisse may say that the glass is broken irrevocably but let’s hope that Cassi and Eliot’s hearts remain fully intact and intertwined forever – Dreamlife Photography wish the happy couple all the very best.

When Courtney and James engaged me to record their wedding I was thrilled but somewhat in awe of the location. The magnificent gothic atmosphere has the capacity to overshadow the proceedings but not so on this occasion. The radiance of Courtney and the beaming smile of James threw enough light to brighten any room of anywhere that has the slightest resemblance to a spooky room in a Hollywood set for a haunted castle or mansion. In fact, the choice was perfect. The challenge I expected with the lighting was made so much easier thanks to the natural ease of the bridal couple and the main bridal party.
I loved the mix of olde worlde and modern that was requested and we seemed to span a whole slew of different decades from romantic Edwardian , elegant Victorian, austere 50s, arty 70s and uber-modern noughties. The pictures may have turned out to be a study of dark and light, but one thing is undeniable – the obvious love of Courtney and James.
It was a great day and a pleasure to record some special memories to be enjoyed by the couple and their family, friends and guests. Everyone at Dreamlife hopes James and Courtney are pleased with the results and we wish all the very best for a very happy life together.

Sarah and Daniel are one of the sweetest couples we have ever worked with. Their special day reminded us how lucky we are to be in the business of capturing true love! The pair chose a beautiful rainforest setting for their nuptials and the results were breathtaking. Preparations went off without a hitch, with a relaxed and cheerful Daniel enjoy a laugh with the boys beforehand and a relaxed Sarah showing grace, poise and a few good humoured jokes with her bridesmaids as she prepared to take his breathe away.
In a rustic chapel surrounded by luscious greenery, Sarah and Daniel delighted their family and friends by declaring their lifetime commitment to each other. The guests showed their approval with excited claps and cheers and of course, there were a few tears of happiness for good measure.
Walking down the aisle hand-in-hand, the proud groom couldn’t keep his eyes of Sarah, who was all smiles in her stunning strapless ivory gown. Outside the chapel, surrounded towering trees and their thrilled bridal party, Sarah and Daniel showered each other with love and affection, holding hands and laughing with pure joy. It was a truly perfect day, full of love, life and happiness.

Sometimes one of the issues of a wedding photographer is being able to capture the best shots of a bride in a dress that is not a match made in heaven for her body but there was no such problem on the day that Melissa married Israel. Melissa is a gorgeously elegant woman and had chosen the perfect dress. It was just down to the Dreamlife photographer to present her and her future husband with a portfolio that captured her pre-nuptial beauty and elegance as well as a lasting set of memories of the event itself. It was a pleasure to take pictures of Melissa whilst she was getting ready for her big moment and if she was nervous she managed to remain serene and calm for the camera and we hope you agree we have produced some great shots.
Melissa’s simple style is obviously appreciated by Israel as evidenced by the unfussy surroundings and classically dressed attendants. Melissa and Israel tied the knot in a beautiful but uncomplicated outdoor ceremony. Thankfully we were blessed with a lovely sunny day and the sumptuous green gardens were the perfect backdrop for this happy couple to seal their love for each other.
